
The director general of Bangladesh Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali, visited the flood-affected area in Moulvibazar and distributed relief among the people on Wednesday.
Media officer of the Coast Guard headquarters, Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan gave this information, said a press release.
He said that Bangladesh Coast Guard had been providing relief and medical services to the flood-affected people for the past few days in Moulvibazar.
The DG of Bangladesh Coast Guard, Mir Ershad Ali, visited several flood-affected areas of Kulaura in Moulvibazar, and distributed relief items.
He also visited the free medical care and medicine distribution programme and distributed food among them.
The DG also gave a directive speech to the Coast Guard members who were engaged in the rescue and distribution of relief, added the press release.
