M Sadiqul Islam has been elected chairman of Social Islami Bank PLC during the bank鈥檚 516th board meeting held recently, said a press release.
He is currently serving as a finance department professor at the University of Dhaka.
He is also an independent director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC and Robi Axiata PLC.
He obtained an MCom in finance from the University of Dhaka, an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and a PhD in finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece.聽
