Dhaka Storytellers, an art platform, on Friday organised a daylong art camp titled Art for Charity to raise funds for the flood affected people of the country.  

Twenty seasoned and promising artists participated in the art camp at the Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park at Gulshan in the capital.


Coordinated by artist Mohammad Iqbal, artists Monirul Islam, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Farida Zaman, Jamal Ahmed, Mohammed Eunus, Ahmed Shamsuddoha, Ivy Zaman, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Anisuzzaman Anis, Azmeer Hossain, Sourav Chowdhury, Monjur Rashid, Maneek Bonik, Antora Mehrukh Azad, Nabaraj Roy, Rasel Rana Sajan, Abdus Shakoor Shah participated in the art camp.

Syeda Adiba Hussain, founder of Dhaka Storytellers, said that the platform organised the art camp to raise funds for flood affected people, featuring both seasoned and promising artists.

‘The artists have responded to our call. As the people of the country have been facing disastrous floods, we want to donate the entire fund to the chief adviser’s relief and welfare fund,’ added Adiba Hussain.

A good number of art collectors and art lovers visited the camp and donated for flood affected people. Â
