Professor Md Amirul Islam of folklore department and Professor Md Akhtar Hossain Mazumder of social work department of Rajshahi University have been appointed as student adviser and public relation office administration officer.
The RU vice-chancellor Professor Saleh Hasan Naqib appointed the two professors to the posts, said a press release on Friday.
Earlier, around eighty teachers stepped down from various administrative posts, including the vice-chancellor, after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government amid student-led mass uprising.
