Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, director general of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, on Sunday was appointed as chairman of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank, according to a press release.
The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a letter in this regard, the press release said.
Abdul Motaleb Sazzad joined the Bangladesh Military Academy in 1990 as an officer cadet and was commissioned in the Infantry Corps in the 26th Long Term Course on June 9, 1992.
