The state-run Trading Corporation of Bangladesh聽will start selling essential commodities at subsidised prices across聽the country from today for the month of September.
Under such move, rice at subsidised prices alongside lentil and edible oil聽will be sold among some one crore family cardholders by the TCB dealers from聽their shops or permanent structures in cooperation with the concerned city聽corporations, district and upazila administrations at certain date and time.
Each family cardholder will be able to buy maximum 2 litres of edible oil聽at Tk 100 per litre, 2 kilograms of lentil at Tk 60 per kilogram and 5 kilograms聽of rice at Tk 30 per kilogram.
