Mia Saheb's Maidan Khanqah Sharif at Luxmibazar in Dhaka will hold religious programmes marking the 1454th Eid-e-miladunnabi (sm) after Maghrib prayers today (Sunday).
Ninth Goddinashin Peer Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim (Damat Barakatuhum), who is also the Mutawalli of Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Mia Saheb Maidan Shah Saheb Bari Jame Masjid, will conduct a religious discussion, doa mahfil and akheri munazat.
The programme will begin through a recitation of verses from the Quran by Mohammad Istiaq Sazzadur Rahman, while Hafez Faruk and Hafez Rahmatulla will resume the milad mahfil.
Eid-e-miladunnabi (sm) is being observed every year for more than three centuries at this khanqauh with due respect to the departed soul.
Khatib of Shah Saheb鈥檚 Bari Jame Masjid Hazrat Maulana Md Hossain Ahmed Afsari and other Islamic scholars will participate in the discussion on the occasion.
The milad mahfil has been organised after the Isha prayers which will be conducted by Syed Mohammad Barkatullah Badruddin and Mohammad Istiaq Sazzadur Rahman.
Later tabarak will be distributed among the devotees. Convener of the programme Saiyed Taiyab Morshed Araf has invited all to attend the function, said a press release.聽
