The Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024 was launched to crown 10 Bangladeshi women to rebrand Bangladesh Globally at the Daily Star Centre in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Organised by Miss Bangladesh Organisation and Miss Bangladesh Foundation to channel the beauty pageant entertainment industry as an effective tool to rebuild and rebrand the image of the country, the beauty pageant鈥檚 audition will be held at the ATN Bangla BFDC Studio in Dhaka on September 30, and the grand finale will be held on October 4 at the Le Meridien, Dhaka, said a press release.
The top 20 will be provided training on pageant walk, advocacy speech, entrepreneurship and project management, reproductive and mental health, and fitness.
Unmarried women citizens aged between 18 and 27 of the country can apply online now through the official website of www.missbangladesh.com until September 28.聽
Chairman of Miss Bangladesh Organisation and Foundation Meghna Alam, its director Tasin Afrin Diana, legal advisor Tahrin Jerin, managing director Nazim Farhan Choudhury, Northbrook Consultants Limited鈥檚 senior consultant Maswood Hasan, CEO of Trilogy Sohel A Chaklader, and Le Meridien Dhaka manager Karin Jongman, among others, were present at the ceremony.聽
Ten qualified Bangladeshi women will be chosen as global goodwill ambassadors to serve Bangladesh together and to represent Bangladesh at 10 international pageants covering five continents.
The winner will be titled, Miss Bangladesh鈥� Earth to participate in the 24th edition of the Miss Earth pageant in Philippines.
Besides, the MBBP 2024 will also be sending its top 10 candidates to Miss Asia in India, Miss Global in Cambodia, Royal International Miss in the USA, Miss Freedom of the World in Kosovo, Miss Culture Global in South Africa, and Miss Heritage International in Thailand.
