The Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday appointed Mahmud Hossain as commissioner of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
A circular was issued by the ministry in this regard on the day.
Signed by Nilufa Yesmin, senior assistant secretary of appointment promotion and deputation wing of the ministry, the circular said that Mahmud was appointed as commissioner of the BTRC in condition of him severing working relationships with other institutions and organisations.
Other terms of this appointment will be determined by the approved contract, the circular said.
