Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited has launched the Friday operation of metro rail.
From now on, every Friday MRT will operate from Uttara North to Motijheel from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM and from Motijheel to Uttara North from 3:50 PM to 9:40 PM, said managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Abdur Rouf.
In another development, the metro rail services have been resumed from Kazipara station as the DMTCL completed its repair works on the station which was partially damaged during the student-led mass uprising.
Kazipara station has been prepared quickly for operation considering the demands of the commuters despite some equipment having to be repaired.
