
Chittagong University international relations department professor Md Kamal Uddin has been appointed as pro-vice chancellor (administration) of the university for the next four years, said a press release on Thursday.
Professor Kamal Uddin joined the Chittagong University as pro-VC on September 24.
He obtained an advanced master鈥檚 degree in international organisations from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2011, and a PhD in 2015 from the Department of Asian and International Studies, City University of Hong Kong.
Kamal鈥檚 teaching career began in 2005 after he joined the political science department of Bangladesh Open University as lecturer.
In 2006, he joined the international relations department of the CU as a lecturer and was later promoted as a professor in the department in 2018.
He has also taught in various universities and institutions, including the City University of Hong Kong, Asian University for Women, Bangladesh University of Professionals, and Bangladesh University of Maritime Affairs, added the press release.
