The Board of Governors of South Asia Foundation held its annual general meeting on Monday.
The meeting took place at the conference room of the Southeast University permanent campus in Tejgaon, Dhaka, said a press release.
At the AGM, Rezaul Karim, the board chairman, was re-elected for the next two-year term. Following his re-election, other office bearers were restructured for the same term.
Under Karim鈥檚 leadership, the AGM focused on strategic planning and financial matters, with the Board reviewing and approving the annual report and audit report. The board appointed an auditor for the next financial year.聽
The South Asia Foundation, the founding organisation of Southeast University, also reaffirmed its commitment to making significant contributions to Bangladesh's development.
