The admission fest at Presidency University began on its campus in Dhaka on Thursday.
Acting vice-chancellor of the university, Professor AHM Faruque, inaugurated the festival, which will continue till October 18.
The event was attended by the university鈥檚 principal adviser Professor Md Anwarul Kabir, deans of various faculties, the registrar, heads of departments, the proctorial team, faculty members, the admission and other department officials. 聽
The Admission Fest offers limited-time massive discounts and exclusive gifts on the basis of first come-first get.
During the fest, there will be 50 per cent off on admission fees and special discounts on tuition for the students enrolling in 12 programs under 7 departments.
The discussants highlighted university鈥檚 progressive education system, advanced research quest, and collaboration between industry and academia that prepare students to become smart citizens of the 21st century.
