Kotibarsha Parjatan Sambay Samiti Limited has recently observed the World Tourism 2024 with the theme ‘Tourism for Peace’ in Dinajpur.
Marking the day, the cooperative society brought out a procession from Mirzapur Bus Terminal and ended at the office of the cooperative society. After the procession, a discussion meeting was held on World Tourism Day-2024.
The cooperative society vice-president Farida Parveen, secretary Md Shahidul Islam, treasurer Manikchandra Roy, member of the management committee Sonia Hye, Iti Ara Parul, Md Zillur Rahman, Khabir Hossain, and the Centre for Heritage Studies deputy director Zahirul Islam, among others, were present at the event, said a press release.
The World Tourism Day is observed on September 27.
