In celebration of World Teachers鈥� Day 2024, Southeast University organised a discussion event on its campus on Monday.
Renowned writer, scholar, jurist, and intellectual professor Salimullah Khan attended the event as chief guest with SEU vice-chancellor professor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam in chair.
In his speech, Salimullah Khan highlighted various aspects of ensuring the quality of education in the country, drawing from the education systems of developed nations.
The event also featured speeches by professor M Mofazzal Hossain, pro-vice-chancellor of SEU, and professor Md Serajul Islam, dean of the school of business studies.
The registrar, additional registrar, deans, heads from both academic and administrative departments, faculty members, officials, and student representatives from 19 student clubs of the university also participated.
