Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University vice-chancellor Professor Md Abdul Latif visited the Sri Sri Radhakrishna and Matri Temple of his campus on Thursday.

Sharadiya Durga Puja Udyapan Committee organised distribution of clothes among the Hindu poor as a temple tradition, said a press release.


In his address, the vice-chancellor said that religious discipline helps people to live an orderly life and respect the religion of others. So he requested everyone to follow their own religion.

SAU vice-chancellor Professor Md Belal Hossain, treasurer Professor Muhammad Abul Bashar also spoke.

Nawab Siraj-ud-Ddaula Hall provost Professor Md Firoz Mahmud, Sher-e-Bangla Hall provost Professor Md Abdul Latif, assistant proctor Professor Md Akhtar Hossain and others also attended the programme.

The programme was conducted by the secretary of the temple Alok Kumar Pal.
