The Global Lift and Escalator Expo (GLE Expo) 2024, which began on October 10, ended on Saturday at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Aimed at promoting the growth and development of the lift, escalator, and elevator industry in Bangladesh鈥檚 housing market, the 5th edition of the fair showcased the cutting-edge lifts and elevators equipped with artificial intelligence technology, according to a press release.
More than 50 brands from 10 different countries participated in the event.
The three-day event remained open for visitors from 10.00am to 7.00pm.
The exhibition showcased elevators and escalators of various sizes, qualities, and designs, catering to everything from tiny residential homes to large factories and shopping malls.
Bangladesh鈥檚 elevator and escalator industry is worth about Tk聽15,000 crore, and industry experts believe this market will continue to grow, the press release said.
