Two people were killed and several others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck at Rezu Mor in Baraigram, Natore.
The injured have been taken to the local upazila health complex for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Shafiqul Islam, a representative of Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals, and Utsab Dutta, son of Paritosh Kumar from Puthia upazila, Rajshahi.
Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Baraigram Police Station, stated that the accident took place at about 9:30pm on Friday when a National Travels bus and a fish-laden truck collided head-on on the Bonpara-Hatikumrul Highway near Rezu crossing. Two passengers of the bus died on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, Bonpara Fire Service and police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and took them to the hospital.
