The vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on the chairman of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh Professor SMA Faiz on October 23, said a press release on Saturday.
The BSMRMU VC briefed the UGC Chairman about the academic and administrative activities conducted by the university鈥檚 temporary campus in Dhaka.
He also informed the chairman about the progress of construction of permanent campus of university at Hamidchar in Chattogram.
Meanwhile, the chairman assured the BSMRMU VC that he would provide full support in the proper execution of the academic and administrative activities of the university, including the construction of the permanent campus of the university.
