Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology electrical and electronic engineering department professor SM Abdur Razzak was appointed as vice-chancellor of the university on Sunday.
A gazette notification of the education ministry on Sunday stated that with the approval of the president and the chancellor, Professor SM Abdur Razzak has been appointed as the RUET VC.
Professor Abdur Razzak joined the RUET鈥檚 electrical and electronic engineering department as a lecturer on June 24 in 1999.
On July 29 in 2013, he was promoted as a professor. He also served as the department head and the dean of electrical and computer engineering faculty.
