Dhaka metropolitan police arrested 31 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs during the last 24 hours till 6:00am on Monday.
Police conducted these operations against the drug sellers and consumers in different areas under various police stations of the metropolis.
They also detained 31 drugs traffickers and seized 93 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, 11 grams of heroin, 1.330 kilograms of cannabis, phensidyl syrup and other drugs from them.
Police filed 16 separate cases against detained under the narcotics control act.
