Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change Syeda Rizwana Hasan inaugurated the Transformation of the Environmental Clearance Certificate Process software at the Directorate of Environment on Tuesday.
Secretary of the ministry Farhina Ahmed, director general of Directorate of Environment Abdul Hamid along with the officials of the directorate were present, said a press release.
The adviser expects that entrepreneurs will get environmental clearance and renewal services at home in the shortest possible time through the operation of this new software.
She said that through the timely software, the entrepreneurs would be able to know the status of their application through notification after submitting the permit application and can also collect the copy of the approved environmental permit online.
The adviser thanked the Directorate of Environment for this new initiative of paperless environment services. It should be noted that this software is developed with the full cooperation of GIZ.
