
The National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh chairman Kamal Uddin Ahmed and its five members resigned from their respective posts on Thursday.
They submitted their resignations to the president Mohammed Shahabuddin following the commission鈥檚 act, according to separate resignation letters.
The NHRC chairman Kamal Uddin Ahmed told 抖阴精品 that the information of their resignations was true.聽
The members are NHRC full-time member Md Salim Reza, and honorary members Tania Haque, Biswajit Chanda, Kongjari Chowdhury and Md Aminul Islam.
Kamal Uddin Ahmed was appointed as the NHRC chairman for three year on December 10, 2022.
They resigned from their posts more than three months after the Awami League president Sheikh Hasina resigned as prime minister and fled to India on August 5 amid a student-led mass uprising.
