
Three more advisers took oath at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban Sunday evening.
The newly sworn-in advisers are businessman Sheikh Bashir Uddin, cultural personality filmmaker Mostofa Sarowar Farooki and special assistant to the chief adviser Mahfuz Alam.
The portfolios, however, were not distributed to them.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath to them at 7:30pm. After the oath-taking ceremony, the new advisers,聽 respectively, signed an oath of cabinet and an oath of secrecy as well.
Cabinet secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid conducted the oath ceremony.
Chief adviser professor Muhammad Yunus and other dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
With the trio, the number of advisers, led by the chief adviser professor Yunus, rose to 24.
On August 8, Nobel Laureate professor Muhammad Yunus took oath as the head of Bangladesh鈥檚 interim government.
