Mazibur Rahman joined as managing director of Janata Bank PLC on November 7, said a press release.
His appointment was approved by the government through a letter of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
Prior to his new assign-ment, he served as MD of Probashi Kallyan Bank.
He began his banking career by joining Rupali Bank PLC as senior officer in 1998.
He obtained honour鈥檚 degree in agricultural economics and rural sociology and master鈥檚 degree with agricultural production economics from Bangladesh Agriculture University.聽
