Journalist Rafiq Uzzaman has received the Bronx Community Award in New York in the United States USA recently.
He was presented with the certificate of recognition at a ceremony in New York, said a press release on Thursday.
New York city council majority leader Amanda C Farias, senator Nathalia Fernandez and New York city Bronx community board chairman Mohammed N Mujumder handed over the award to Rafiq Uzzaman.
Senior attorney H Bruce Fischer, attorney Rashed Mujumder, and Democratic Convention delegate Manjur Chowdhury Jaglul, among others, were present at the event.
