Journalist Golam Mortoza has been appointed the minister (press) in the press wing of the Bangladesh mission in Washington, the United States of America on a two-year contract.
Mortoza, now working as the editor of The Daily Star Bangla, has been given the appointment on the condition that he will have to leave working relations with all other professions, business or government or non-government organisations.
The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification to the effect on Tuesday.
