The newly formed ad-hoc committee of the Bangladesh Tennis Federation, led by its president Abdul Hai Sarker, formally took charge at the Ramna Tennis Complex in the city on Saturday.
The Dhaka Bank chairman Abdul Hai was named as the BTF president when the National Sports Council approved ad-hoc committees of nine sports federations on November 15.
Vice-presidents Ashrafuzzaman Khan Puton and Mohammad Selim, general secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed, joint secretaries Muammar Ahmad and Ashikur Rahman, treasurer MA Jinnah, and other members of the federation were present on the occasion.
