Police on Saturday recovered the stolen money of Tk 23.50 lakh from Chattogram鈥檚 Bandar Tila area and arrested Md Masum Hawlader, alias Masum, 26, in this connection.
A media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police said that the driver of real estate businessman Swapan Saha, owner of Shanta Construction, stole Tk 24 lakh from his car on Thursday. Later, he filed a case with Shahbag police station.
With the help of technology, Chattogram detective branch of police arrested Masum at 2.45am Saturday and recovered the money.
