Hamdard Laboratories WAQF Bangladesh and the Bangla daily Desh Rupantor jointly have inaugurated a traffic police booth at Bangla Motor in Dhaka.
Deputy police commissioner (traffic) Dewan Jalal Uddin Chowdhury, Hamdard Bangladesh marketing director Hakim Saifuddin Murad, information and public relations director Amirul Momenin Manik, deputy director of marketing Abul Taimur Chowdhury, deputy director of procurement Zafar Sadek, among others, were present at the inauguration event on Thursday, said a press release on Saturday.
Hamdard officials said that it always stand by people for any need. 鈥業f the traffic police take any initiative for public welfare, Hamdard will fully cooperate in those activities.鈥�
During the inauguration ceremony, the people were treated to the centuries-old traditional Rooh Afza to quench their thirst, added the press release.
