Chief adviser鈥檚 press secretary Shafiqul Alam on Tuesday said that threats and intimidation of journalists or attacking media outlets would not be tolerated.
He condemned the attack on the Prothom Alo office at Rajshahi in the strongest terms.
鈥業f you have complaints against the journalism of Prothom Alo, the Daily Star, or any other media outlet, you can go to court to seek legal redress,鈥� he said in a message on his verified Facebook account.
鈥榊ou can also hold peaceful protests,鈥� Alam said, adding that protests against media outlets are not new. 鈥業t has been going on for centuries.鈥�
