The authorities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Tuesday visited the students injured in the student-led mas uprising at the university鈥檚 Cabin Block in Dhaka.

The BSMMU academic pro-vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam, pro-VC for administration Professor Dr Md Abul Kalam Azad, pro-VC for research and development Professor Dr Md Mujibur Rahman Hawlader, treasurer Professor Dr Nahrin Akhter, registrar Professor Dr Md Nazrul Islam, director for hospital Brigadier General Dr Md Rezaur Rahman, and proctor Dr Sheikh Farhad, among others, were present at that time, said a press release.


They inquired about the treatment of 21 students undergoing treatment at the hospital, and spoke to each injured separately and listened to their problems and instructed the concerned to solve them.

They also said that the injured students would be ensured the most modern medical services, including the supply of medicines.

If anyone, however, needs to seek treatment abroad, the authorities will also provide necessary assistance, added the press release.
