
At least 10 people were injured as two factions of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party locked in a clash over establishing supremacy.
The clash occurred in front of the Raujan upazila parishad office in Chattogram on Friday afternoon.
Witnesses said that the clash took place between the followers of BNP central committee vice-chairman Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury and Chattogram North BNP convener Golam Akbar Khandaker over a feud regarding the arrangement of a monthlong victory fair in the field of Raujan Government College.
The injured on both sides included upazila Jubo Dal convener Rahim Uddin, activists Shakil Hossain, Muhammad Ripon, Muhammad Alamgir, and Muhammad Robi, and Municipal Jubo Dal members Abdus Salam and Muhammad Rakib.
The injured were admitted to Upazila Health Complex.
Raujan police station officer-in-charge AKM Shafiquel Alam Chowdhury told 抖阴精品 that a clash occurred between two groups. But he could not give further information.
