Sumaiya Akter will lead Bangladesh in the inaugural Women鈥檚 ACC U-19 Asia Cup as the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the squad for the tournament on Thursday.聽
The six-team tournament will be held in Klang, Malaysia, from December 15 to 22. The Bayuemas Cricket Oval will host all the matches featuring Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal (qualifier), Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.聽
Bangladesh are pitted in Group A along with Sri Lanka and Malaysia. Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka on December 16 before taking on Malaysia the following day.聽
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four stage, where the points and net run rate will be carried.聽
The top two teams at the Super Four will face off in the final scheduled on December 22. Bangladesh will depart for Malaysia today.聽
