Tamim Iqbal鈥檚 91 was overshadowed by Salman Hossain Emon鈥檚 last-over blitz as Barishal clinched a thrilling five-wicket win over Chattogram in their fourth-round match of the NCL T20 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Opener Iftakhar Hossain Ifti鈥檚 56 off 39 balls laid a strong foundation for Barishal while chasing 183, but the match was all but over for them as they needed 25 runs in the last over off Ifran Hossain.

Salman even failed to score from the first delivery. But then the right-handed batter hit three sixes and two fours, including a six off a no-ball, to propel his team to 185-5 and bring an unlikely win for Barishal.聽

Before that, Tamim, who hit seven fours and six sixes in his 54-ball innings, single-handedly took Chattogram to 182-7 after they opted to bat first in the afternoon match.聽

At the outer ground, Sylhet secured their first win in the tournament, defeating Khulna by six wickets.聽

Batting first, captain Nurul Hasan Sohan scored the team鈥檚 highest 48 off 34 balls as Khulna stuttered to a below-par total of 144-7. Ebadot Hossain and Nabil Samad each took two wickets for Sylhet.

Jishan Alam, who scored a century in the opening match, hit 73 off 48 balls, including four fours and six sixes, and got Sylhet off to a flying start.

聽Tofael Ahmed then scored 23 off 12 balls to get them home with nine balls remaining.聽

In the morning, Rangpur cruised to their fourth consecutive win as they won a high-scoring thriller when they overcame Rajshahi鈥檚 189-8 with seven wickets and 12 balls remaining at the main ground.聽

After being put into bat first, Sabbir Hosan scored an unbeaten 73 off 52 while Golam Kibria鈥簊 15-ball 38 helped Rajshahi post a big total.聽

But half-centuries from opener Tanbir Hayder (71 off 45) and Akbar Ali (68 off 29) helped Rangpur to cruise past Rajshahi.聽

At the outer ground, right-arm pacer Anisul Islam claimed 4-38 as Dhaka suffered their third straight loss, this time to Dhaka Metro by 19 runs.聽

Captain Naim Sheikh top-scored for Metro with an impressive 69 runs off 54 balls, while Shamsur Rahman contributed a quickfire 43 in just 22 balls to steer Dhaka to 190-7 in the stipulated overs.

Ariful Islam (42) and Rony Talukdar (39) made a desired start but failed to go big as Dhaka managed 171-8.
