National Bank Limited has received approval to temporarily suspend all banking services to facilitate a seamless migration to a new core banking software system.
To this end, the Bangladesh Bank issued a circular on Thursday.
According to the circular, all banking services of National Bank Limited will be suspended from December 31, 2024 to January 4, 2025, to facilitate a seamless migration to core banking system.
The Bangladesh Bank gave the go-ahead under the authority granted by Section 45 of the Bank Companies Act, 1991, ensuring the bank can focus on completing the migration effectively.
