The fire that broke out at a house behind Sattola slum in the capital鈥檚 Mohakhali area on Saturday afternoon has been extinguished.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the house at about 4:10pm, said Rozina Akter, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 4:50pm.
The origin of the fire and the extent of the damages were not immediately known, she added.
