The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) held its 53rd annual general meeting at the Ruhul Quddus Auditorium of ICMA Bhaban at Nilkhet in Dhaka on Friday.
ICMAB executive director Md Mahbub-Ul-Alam welcomed attendees. ICMAB president Mahtab Uddin Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Mahtab highlighted the institute鈥檚 commitment to fostering diversity and innovation through its initiatives and accomplishments over the year.
Md Kausar Alam, vice-president, presented the activities and progress of the examination, while Md Akhtaruzzaman, vice-president, presented the activities and development of education at the Institute.
During the meeting, SM Zahir Uddin Haider, secretary, presented the functions and achievement of the year while Abdul Matin Patwary, treasurer, presented the audited accounts and financial reports.
The Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) election for the 2025 term was conducted where 1,172 members cast their votes to elect 10 council members.
