Police on Thursday recovered the body of Juba Dal leader Alamgir Hossain, who went missing on Wednesday night.
The body was recovered from a land beside Shahrabaria-Kamarkhali area under Gangni upazila Thursday morning, police said.
Alamgir Hossain, 35, an expatriate worker and leader of Jubo Dal Gangni municipality unit, was the son of Mainuddin of Bashbaria Bazar para.
Police immediately could not confirm the reason of killing Alamgir.
Victim鈥檚 younger brother Alamin Hossain said that his brother returned home from Dubai two months ago.
