Morshed Ullah has been appointed as legal head of Standard Chartered Bangladesh, said a press release.
He will also join Standard Chartered Bangladesh鈥檚 country management team.
He joined the bank as legal counsel in 2014 and most recently held the role of head of legal, corporate and investment banking.
Prior to this, he worked at Airtel Bangladesh Limited, Warid Telecom Int鈥檒 LLC, practised law at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and also served as a civil judge of the subordinate judiciary of Bangladesh.
He completed his master of law from the University of Dhaka and obtained an Islamic Finance Level-3 Qualification from Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
