Chasing the target, Bangladesh lost their top order in quick succession and found themselves reeling at 11-3.听
Then Sadia Islam and captain Sumaiya Akter contributed 16 and 12 runs, respectively, and steadied the ship while Afia Ashima (nine) guided them to the mark in 13.2 overs.
Bangladesh will face Australia in their second match on January 20 at the same venue, before taking on Scotland on January 22.听
