The police arrested three people on charges of raping a college girl in Baduarchar area of Hajipur union under the sadar upazila in Narsingdi on Monday night.
The arrested are Nadim Mahmud Dipu, 19, Rasel Mia alias Rashed Mia, 21, and Mehedi Hasan Shibli, 21.
All of them hailed from Baduarchar Kanda Para village under Hajipur union.聽
Narsingdi model police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Emdadul Haque said that the arrested were sent to jail through a court order on Tuesday.
According to the case statement, the accused forcibly took the victim to a house in the Baduarchar Gate area of 鈥嬧�婬ajipur union under the sadar upazila and raped her on January 26.聽聽
Victim鈥檚 mother filed a case with the Narsingdi model police station in this regard the next day.聽
