A prisoner of Rajshahi Central Jail died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.
The deceased is Md Hadikul Islam, 58, son of late Jarjis Alam of Gomastapur Dakbanglo area in Chapainawabganj.
Sankar K Biswas, in-charge of the RMCH emergency department, told 抖阴精品 that the authorities of the Rajshahi Central Jail brought Hadikul to hospital鈥檚 emergency department at about 7:30pm on Tuesday after he had suffered a stroke there.
The doctor on duty, however, declared Hadikul dead on arrival as the latter passed away on his way to the hospital, he said, adding that the body was kept at the mortuary.
Rajshahi Central Jail senior jail superintendent Ratna Roy and jailer Aman Ullah could not be reached for their comments despite repeated attempts over the phone.
