The authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines have taken a plan to temporarily suspend the Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester flights in order to conduct Hajj flights of the pilgrims smooth and comfortable.

Due to the shortage of aircraft, flights on the Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester route and return route have been temporarily suspended from May 1 to July 10, said a press release issued on Wednesday.


The press release also mentioned that the airlines had decided to operate Hajj flights by slightly increasing or decreasing the number of flights on various routes, and by changing and adjusting the aircraft, considering the passenger demand.

After the Hajj flights, regular flights will be operated on the Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester route two days a week from July 11.

For the convenience of passengers, tickets for this route will be open for sale on all distribution channels, including Biman sales counters, Biman website and mobile apps, added the press release.
