Stocks ended flat on Thursday as optimistic investors invested fresh funds in lucrative shares.
Turnover stood at Tk聽3.90 billion, up 24.12 per cent from the previous trading day. Out of the 395 issues traded, 120 closed higher, 219 ended lower, and 56 remained unchanged on the DSE trading floor.
Agni Systems was the most-traded stock, with shares worth Taka 202.81 million changing hands, followed by BRAC Bank, MJL Bangladesh, Far East Knitting and Dyeing Industries, and Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange ended down with its All Share Price Index decreasing 38.28 points to settle at 14294. The port city bourse traded 4.54 million shares and mutual fund units with a turnover volume of Taka 127.75 million.
