The American International University-Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Basketball Federation have recently signed a memorandum of understanding on the AIUB campus in Dhaka.
Through this partnership, AIUB will be the official education partner of the Bangladesh Basketball Federation for the next three years, underscoring a shared commitment to fostering the development of sports and education in the country, said a press release on Thursday.
The MoU was signed by Nadia Anwar, founder and chairman of the AIUB鈥檚 board of trustees, and Shemim Aka Nawaz, president of BBF.
The event was attended by AIUB vice-chancellor Professor Saiful Islam, pro-VC Professor Md Abdur Rahman, proctor Professor Manzur H Khan, BBF general secretary retired major Mohammad Atiqul Hafeez and BBF joint secretary Mohammad Faisal Azim, among others.
