
The board of directors of Hajj Finance Company Limited, a Shariah-based financial institution established as a joint venture between Bangladesh and Malaysia, held its 117th meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting was presided over by acting chairman Kazi Md Shafiqur Rahman, said a press release.
The meeting was attended by Bangladeshi director Abu Tayyab Abu Ahmed, independent director ABM Zahurul Huda, director Md Saeed Ahmed at the venue and virtually by Malaysian directors Mohamad Sabri Bin Zahia and Mohammad Asri Bin Mat Ali, along with the chief executive officer of the company Md Shafiqur Rahman and senior officials.
The directors approved various investment proposals and made decisions on policy issues.
