Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam at the Saraswati Puja celebrations on the BSMMU campus in Dhaka on Monday urged the people of the country to maintain good relations and unity for the smooth running of the institution and the country.

Attending as chief guest at the festival organised by the BSMMU Saraswati Puja Celebration Council, he also emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, mentioning the relations of Hindu-Muslim in the country, said a press release.


Saraswati Puja, worshiping the goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture, was celebrated amid much enthusiasm and festivity at the BSMMU.
