Daffodil Nursing College has recently held the graduation and oath taking ceremony of the students of bachelor of science in nursing and diploma in science and midwifery for the academic year 2023-2024 at Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia in Dhaka.
AKM Amjad Hossain, acting college inspector, Dhaka University, was present as chief guest at the event, said a press release on Tuesday.
He delivered a speech on the wide opportunities of the nursing profession and the special benefits of higher education and jobs in nursing in different countries.
Special guest of the event, Md Nuruzzaman, chief executive officer of Daffodil Family, spoke on the significance of the graduation of the students and the role of nurses.
Daffodil Nursing College faculty members, Daffodil International University faculty of health and life sciences dean Professor Md Belal Hossain, public health department professor Mohammad Shahjahan, Daffodil Nursing College deputy director Masud Karim were present at the event, which was presided over by acting principa of the college Greetashri Ghosh.
A cultural programme was presented by the students of different years of this college, added the release.
