Banglalink has adopted PI Works’ predictive energy saving (PES) module integrated with self-organising networks (SON) capabilities to integrate artificial intelligence/machine learning into its engineering processes, said a press release.Â
The SON modules help to reduce energy consumption by deactivating underutilised carriers. With coordinated SON features, Banglalink has enhanced network performance while minimising human errors, ultimately elevating user experience, it said.
Huseyin Turker, chief technology and information officer of Banglalink, said, ‘By integrating PI Works’ advanced AI algorithms, we have achieved real-time network resource optimisation and dynamic traffic management, ensuring seamless connectivity and an improved user experience. This initiative aligns perfectly with our AI 1440 strategy, enabling us to reduce operational costs while substantially boosting Banglalink’s Network Promoter Score.’ — Press release
